Designed by Gensler Sports, this state of the art, 14-acre property serves as the new corporate headquarters and training facility for the Los Angeles Chargers.
The 145,000-square foot complex includes three natural-grass fields, player lockers, team meeting rooms, an outdoor lap pool, strength & conditioning areas, a 3,100 square-foot media center, eSports production studios, advanced air-filtration systems, a rooftop hospitality area, and various other world-class amenities. The Chargers are the third professional sports team headquartered in El Segundo, joining the Lakers and Kings.
The Chargers Project accelerates completion of the Nash Street extension. Nash Street has been extended as a public street from El Segundo Blvd on the north to Hughes Way on the south. The Nash Street extension includes a Class II bicycle lane. Completion of these improvements provides a key north-south linkage which will be further enhanced by the future Park Place Extension Project connecting Park Place to Allied Way and Nash Street.
